Story
Get to Know Us
Taking care of my parents has been my life for the past 5 years. My father passed away over a year ago and the pain is something that I live with every day. My mother who is 80 and is legally blind has no real socialization outlet like she used to. Most of her friends and family have passed on which has led her to being in the house most of her days.
My main goal in creating this center is for my mother, but also for senior citizens who are in the same position as her. I am naming my center: Looking Glass Senior Services because, I wanted it to reflect on how seniors wanted to feel in today's society. I wanted them to have a space where they can go without worrying about their age. I believe in this center so much: I just need other people to believe in it too!
